We recently moved into our new workshop in Huntington Beach, California, giving us more room to design and build the custom furniture we love creating. And now, the first project in our new space is officially underway—an oversized custom wood and epoxy bar top.
There’s something fitting about beginning this new chapter with a piece this big.

The First Pour in Our New Huntington Beach Workshop
Our first project in the new shop is an especially large custom bar top, and seeing it stretched across the workshop really puts the scale of this piece into perspective.
The natural wood grain, live edges and character of the slab are what make projects like this so interesting. Instead of trying to make every piece of wood look identical, we work with its natural features and build the design around them.
Once the epoxy is poured, cured, flattened, sanded and finished, the transformation can be pretty incredible.
And this particular pour carries a little extra meaning for us.
